The following new mission presidents and companions have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.
Marvin R Allen, 62, and Lori B. Allen, four children, Mapleton 1st Ward, Mapleton Utah Stake: New Zealand Auckland Mission, succeeding President Garrick W. Parr and Sister Susan K. Parr. Brother Allen is an MTC branch presidency counselor and former high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, elders quorum president, institute teacher and missionary in the Thailand Bangkok Mission. He was born in Maywood, California, to John William Allen and Hazel Martineau Allen.
Sister Allen is an MTC branch missionary and former stake Young Women camp director, ward Primary presidency counselor, ward Young Women presidency counselor, Primary pianist and institute teacher. She was born in Bountiful, Utah, to E. Daniel Bowen and Carol James Bowen.
Benjamin Botchway, 58, and Sela Tupouvainiaku Botchway, four children, Northpoint 2nd Ward, Salt Lake Rose Park North Stake: Oregon Portland Mission, succeeding President Steve Haymond and Sister Angie Haymond. Brother Botchway is a bishop and former high councilor, district executive secretary, bishopric counselor, ward clerk, ward assistant clerk, high priests group leader, elders quorum presidency counselor, Primary teacher and missionary in the Ghana Accra Mission. He was born in Korle-Gonno, Ghana, to John Narh Botchway and Comfort Naa Ayele Acquaye.
